JIVA GURUKULAM
(Vedic Education)
JIVA commenced its academics
with JIVA Gurukulam which started its first Foundation Course on June
2nd, 2009 in the premises of Sri Ramanagar. There are about 120 resident
children in the age group of 8 yrs to 14 yrs taking this course which is
a pre-qualification course for them to pursue Veda/Vedantha/Sanskrit
studies.
In addition to their regular curriculum, students are also given
training in Sanskrit, English, games, karate and many cultural
activities.
JIVA is providing all the facilities free to children along with food,
clothing, education and other academic activities. Those who wish to

NETRA
VIDYALAYA (Affiliated to Osmania University)
The first Junior college of its kind
exclusively for the Blind and Visually Challenged was inaugurated on Aug
31, 2007 and is functioning at Shamshabad, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
The junior college provides FREE education along with FREE boarding,
clothing, basic medical facilities, for low socio-economic
underprivileged blind students.
53 Blind students were enrolled this year, who pursued their
studies in History, Civics and Economics as well as in Civics Economics
and Commerce groups. Highly experienced and renowned staff in respective
subjects gave training on the subjects to these Blind students. There
is a specialized staff having computer expertise and experience in
teaching for the Blind to take care of all the technical needs of these
children.
